• Architected and built a proprietary multi-tenant Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platform using Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and pgvector, with OAuth2 (PKCE)/JWT authentication enforcing per-tenant data isolation, and an MCP server exposing 20 tools for direct LLM function calling.
• Designed the platform as a reusable application foundation, enabling rapid development of industry-specific solutions for real estate, pest control, pool cleaning, and other business use cases without rebuilding the underlying AI infrastructure.
• Built a geospatial property-data module supporting address-based parcel lookup and AI-generated property reports assembled from ownership, valuation, sales, and related property data.
• Developed automated, asynchronous ingestion pipelines supporting email-to-platform delivery, file uploads, and cloud synchronization through a queue-based extract → normalize → chunk → embed workflow, transforming unstructured documents into searchable, AI-ready data without manual re-entry.
• Integrated the platform's MCP/tool-calling layer with Telnyx AI voice and SMS agents, enabling users to conversationally create and retrieve application data without additional application-specific backend development.
• Designed AI usage metering and cost-governance capabilities across embeddings, summarization, vision, audio, search, and LLM services, tracking usage by client with configurable daily/monthly limits and automated freeze/suspend controls to prevent runaway costs.
• Built administrative dashboards providing real-time visibility into AI utilization and cost across individual client tenants.
• Owned production infrastructure end-to-end, including Docker containerization, deployment tooling, application operations, monitoring, and audit logging of AI-agent interactions.

Worked under the Apollo parent company supporting three institutions simultaneously—University of Phoenix, Western International University, and BPP Law School in London—each with separate technology environments and business stakeholders.

• Supported what was one of the world's largest PeopleSoft Campus Solutions implementations, managing systems containing more than 2 million historical student records and supporting more than 500,000 active students at peak scale.
• Served as an engineering team member during Apollo's major companywide migration to Expedient's Enterprise Cloud, transitioning away from a 27,000-square-foot data center containing 12,500+ servers to a cloud-centric architecture requiring only seven colocation servers. The broader initiative generated approximately $50 million in savings and eliminated more than 234,000 labor hours over three and a half years.
• Lead Developer/Administrator for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 8.x–9.x across UOP and WIU, with responsibility for application updates, patches, version upgrades, security, application servers, web servers, process schedulers, performance tuning, and production support.
• Designed soft-archiving, retrieval, reporting, and long-term data-retention processes for millions of student records using AWS S3, Glacier, EC2, ECR, and Lambda.
• Performed extensive development using PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine, ETL, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.
• Developed advanced SQL and PL/SQL solutions and worked with NoSQL technologies including MongoDB, Redis, and DynamoDB.
• Worked for several years alongside Oracle/Vocado on the design and development of Oracle Student Financial Planning, originating from the University of Phoenix/Vocado partnership prior to Oracle's acquisition of Vocado.
• Designed and developed microservices, data streams, and data-lake integrations supporting institution-wide student data.
• Built SOAP and REST integrations for enterprise platforms including Blackboard Ultra, Ally, SafeAssign, Collaborate, Oracle Financials, Salesforce, Genesys, JasperSoft, AWS, and Microsoft Dynamics AX/365.
